50/50 is a must-see. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is a phenomenal actor. His emotional struggle feels authentic and truly connects with the audience. Seth Rogen was his hilarious self, but he also shows some serious acting skills. His character is one almost anyone can relate to. He has heart. I also loved Angelica Huston’s role as the mother. Through the phone calls, the silence, their body language, the two made a great family pair for this film. Honestly, I went in thinking this movie might be a little depressing, but i was wrong. This film balances drama and comedy and is actually quite an inspiring story. (Also, I’m married, but still have a major crush on JGL! LOVE him! He was great!!!)

If you haven’t yet, I recommend a visit to the Newseum in DC. This was one of my favorite exhibits, the Berlin Wall.

The Girl Store
Visit this site. The title itself is intriguing and so bold. Love the concept of “buying a girl her life back” by supporting her education!

Free movie night at the Charles Theatre 1-25-11, courtesy of Baltimore City Paper. It’s first come, first served seating for the films that night. Who’s going to stand in the cold and see Somewhere with me? http://ow.ly/3Hfk4

hey hey! Just getting started, wanted something that expresses me…even if you’re my only follower;) It took me awhile for the name, but just imagine me saying “superclass!” like “superstar!” and striking a pose.
